Cory joined the Lexis team this year after moving to the Valley from Idaho.  While in Idaho, Cory taught at Northgem High School in Bancroft, Idaho where he instructed classes in Journalism, Economics, History, Multimedia and Computer Software operation.  More recently, he found his niche teaching students with special needs in a resource program at Madison High School in Rexburg, Idaho.  Cory believes in teaching every student that they have the capability to create their own success and control their future.  Prior to Cory’s education career, he had a 20 year stint in the broadcast field as a DJ and television news director for the NBC and CBS affiliates in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Cory holds a BS degree in Social Studies/Secondary Education from BYU, Idaho.  He is currently working on his masters degree in Special Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

In his free time, Cory enjoys fly fishing and playing his guitar.
