Kendall Charvonia is in her second year of teaching in the Lower School at Lexis Prep. Before coming to Lexis, Kendall spent four years teaching in a cross categorical resource classroom at De La Esperanza Elementary School in the Kyrene School District in Tempe, Arizona. Prior to teaching in the Kyrene School District, Kendall was a “Nanny” for children ages 9 months to 6 years of age and was a preschool teacher at the North Phoenix Baptist Church. Kendall is a strong advocate for early intervention with focus in the social thinking and pragmatic areas of learning. She also believes that students should be taught “the way in which they learn best.”
Kendall graduated from Arizona State University and earned a B.A. degree in Special Education with a special focus in Learning Disabilities.
When not working in her K/1 classroom, Kendall can be found walking her 3 dogs, going to the movies with her husband, or sitting down with a realistic fiction book.
