Jody Clark

Jody Clark is a counselor with over ten years of experience working in a school setting.  She received her Masters of Science in Counseling from Syracuse University and worked as a school counselor in upstate New York and Georgia.  In her role in New York, she provided a comprehensive counseling program to a diverse student population in grades 5-9.  One of her main areas of focus was closely working with special education students and helping them further develop their social skills.  In Georgia, Jody was the department chair of the counseling office.  While managing the department, she provided counseling and advisement to students in grades 9-12.   She organized the first college/career fair there and initiated a mentoring program for at risk students.

 In addition to working in a school setting, Jody has experience working for several counseling agencies.  She has worked as a crisis counselor providing support for parents in chronic stress, facilitated a weekly support group for clients with eating disorders, and counseled pregnant teens to help them complete high school.

 Jody is married, has two children and a Golden Retriever. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, swimming and going on adventures with her family.
